Fabulous vintage hand mixer from Italian company Alessi. The mixer "wands" look like squid tentacles. It’s a real kitchen creature and it makes homemade mayonnaise like nobody's business.!

Designed in the 1990s by Marta Sansoni, It is currently out of production. A fantastic collectors piece and great kitchen workhorse. Not to mention a perfect and memorable gift for the newlywed or housewarming.

The handle on the top adds a full 5 1/2 inches to the piece, including the handle it stands just a bit over 10 inches tall. It has a glass container with measurements in grams, pounds, pints in fluid measures--It lists Sugar, Flour and Fluids separately as they should be measured to have your baked goods come out perfectly. This piece is in perfect vintage condition - looks brand new.
